Las Vegas Sun: Rubio is expected to pull back the curtain on his bill any day now.

...Rubio will have perhaps no more important audition to prove his worth to the party than when he unveils his alternate Dream Act, legislation that for the past decade has sought to put undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children and are enrolled in college or the military on a pathway to citizenship

You really think it's going to pass the house?

No, the republican majority in the house is simply too large.

Yep so is the stake in November. You better believe there will be a compromise in the House if there is one in the Senate otherwise Republicans have no chance in November.

True, we might all be inclined to say the vote will fail the house tragically, but as 2face reminds us, this is politics and anything could happen. Once the bill is released I am sure we all will be able to assess if it even has a chance. Until then guys let's just relax and enjoy summer mates.

Agreed

The GOP will get hurt should they choose to vote this down and I believe they are starting to realize that.

Any bill has a higher chance to pass as long as a politician's future position is at stake. Sad but true.

"But Reid also added that he was “bound and determined” to pass a Dream Act that included a pathway to citizenship, declaring he would not consider anything short of that, even if the beneficiaries of such a bill are getting desperate enough to take Rubio’s reported deal."

Reid, you son of a bitch!

With Rubio's DA, I feel like for Romney to increase his chances of winning, the GOP MUST help pass the bill by voting yay. However, I'm afraid it won't be enough. It will definitely help Romney gain some votes. The ball is definitely with the Democrats. It is really up to Obama to step up and help pass this shit because he has nothing to worry in regards to the election. In fact, Obama should be very happy with this upcoming bill. He has the perfect opportunity to support it, help pass it, and claim victory. Seriously, why would a clown like Romney who isn't even in office currently get credit for passage? Republicans are desperate for votes!! If this DA does not pass, Obama will be responsible! Obama must come out in support of the bill. That would expose those GOP Reps in the house and force them to vote yes on their own party's bill!!
