Re: Immigration Reform: The Fight to Pass the Dream Act
Inspiring and so sad at the same time.
Made me feel proud of their effort and yet sad that it hadn't been resolved entirely. I know I cried myself to sleep so many times without letting someone know how I felt. I can't imagine how strong(emotionally obviously) that lady that said it was a win must be even though she aged out and got nothing. I would have probably been broken to fragments instead of feeling victory. |

I get the feeling there might be more to come. One of the ladies in the video mentioned about their being three options the President can take, which I assume is administratively.

Obama said after the inauguration, his top priority is immigration reform. Obama won relection with a 74% Hispanic vote. Republicans are scrambling after their defeat, praising Immigration Reform, calling for Immigration Reform, supporting Immigration Reform. If something doesn't happen next year (and I mean something big), I will be awestruck. |
