Yeah EFF it. Those Republicans who are unwilling to compromise on gun control are radicals. There's no other way. Obama must continue being aggressive. Civilians have no business owning arsenals in their homes. One pistol is more than enough to suffice the 2nd amendment right. "Right to bear arms" These idiots take it to heart and feel entitled to owning machine guns, cannons, and rocket launchers. If this keeps going on, one day another Civil War will erupt.

So true. I have nothing against owning a gun for self defense or maybe even for hunting but other than that I think it's crazy what the hell do they need all of that for????

In order for the president to exact EO on a piece of legislation, a prior and expired bill that was approved by Congress has to exist. This is why Joe Biden is touting that the White House can use EO to put back in the 1994 gun control act that Dianne Feinstein sponsored.

Also, ONLY the congress has the power to give people legality. (i.e. Green Card, Citizenship.)

Agree, but president sure has enough power to twist congress around as he likes, one of great example is DACA.

President can take 2 agressive steps to make congress work with him :
1) President can remove 3/10 yers bar completly without waiver. This will alone benefit half of illegal population who is eligble through relatives or employer.
2) Halt deportation for as many immigrants as possible and provide EAD like DACA to all worker untill congress pass real solution. This will pressure congress to suport the bill with path to citizenship for illegals with other enforcement bills.

You really dont know what the president did with DACA, do you? It was not an EO to change laws, it was a change in policy within in the Homeland Security. All within the department's and Administration's authority. Your point 1, thats a policy set by homeland security or USCIS NOT Congress. Point 2, USCIS and ICE have limited resources, so they use those resources to the best they can. The president has NOT "twisted" Congress to do his bidding. It's all within the Executive Branch's authority.

#1 is going to happen but you still have to show hardship and leave country in order to qualify, president can make it even more eiser by not proving hardship or leaving country, also he can make it possible for employer to sponser like it used to back in 2001.

That's what I mean that he can use same policy change he uses for DACA if not EO then. It makes diffrent wording but it will do same work, I should have called policy change instead EO.
