How about focusing on all the undocumented people instead of just people from one country

Im sure they're focusing on all of the undocumented people, but this bill stems from the fact that too many Venezuelans file for political asylum only to be denied and then deported.getting asylee status is hard and you're suppose to file within a year of arriving at the latest. Hopefully it does get attached to CIR,i'd take this route over Dream Act.

you know, I wouldn't doubt that if a CIR/DA didn't pass, the next thing to do would to introduce a bill that grant DACAers permanent residency

Are they really going to be tortured? Hum, like the Egyptian cleric who was kidnapped in Italy and taken into one of America's torture buddy countries and in where an Italian court recently convicted all those US agents. But if the US sponsors other people to be kidnapped and turtore, tis' it be ok.

Hmm Mexicans come from a country that is in a civil war right now. Over 75,000 dead and 25,000 missing . How come no special status for us? We have it way harder than Cubans or Venezuelans..Is it just because there are so many of us? lol
