this is suppose to make me feel sorry for these people ? or feel compassionate about being a dreamer ?

i mean, good for them.

but wtf. we all know what we're getting into, if you don't like being an "illegal" go back to your country. otherwise make the best out of a shitty situation, without feeling sorry for your self or crying because you couldn't go to college afterwards (which by the way, its possible, you just have to work extra hard at it) EVERY ONE OF US LEFT FAMILY AND IT FUCKING SUCKS.

So as a dreamer yourself, you do know our struggles are hard. But instead of being compassionate towards other dreamers you've decided to tell people to just suck it up.

What makes you think these people haven't also made the best of a shitty situation? People deal with this kind of shit in different ways. Crying can be a release when you're under a lot of stress. I've both cried, felt sorry for myself, and also worked towards advancing where I am in life. Ain't nothing wrong with expression frustration.

And also, not everybody has the opportunity to go to college, especially when they live in a state that bars the enrollment of dreamers to higher ed institutions (or they bar us indirectly through higher tuition).

Yeah I don't think I ever cried for my situation, my state charges out of state tuition for people here with out authorization but I still found a way to pay for school. I never once felt sorry for being here like this. My parents always told me that what I was studying here was kinda of pointless since getting 'in' through a company was hard and next to that was marriage, but I figured, "well, if I get deported or can't find a job whats stopping from going home and applying there? its not the end of the world" but this just me. People do come from different situations and backgrounds and not everyone has it as easy as us I suppose

uh, college IS for everybody. if you try hard enough you'll go to college, you can start off with 1 class, and who cares if they're not giving you instate tuition, back in the late 90's california was barely starting to help out undocumented students, i had to pay out of state tuition, so yeah .. suck it up and go make a video about how awesome this country is. WAA WAA NO PAPERS I CAN'T GO TO COLLEGE.. right on.

those videos are like facebook likes.. "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME IF I GET 1,000 LIKES I CAN GO TO COLLEGE" get out. seriously.

also, if you want to be heard, go to Washington, better yet Arizona, and tell Brewer what you just said, see where that's going to get you. Frustration is going to get you no where.
