Rubio: Pass immigration reform or Obama may legalize 11 million by fiat (UPDATED)

Senator Marco Rubio reportedly said that "I have maintained now for more than a year that I believe that this president will be tempted – if nothing happens in Congress, he will be tempted – to issue an executive order like he did for the DREAM Act kids a year ago, where he basically legalizes 11 million people by the sign of a pen."
Theoretically, it is possible because the deferred action relief has been there for decades and decades in the immigration rules. House Republicans should learn more about immigration law before they talk against the immigration reform legislation. There are three branches in the federal government. Congress is not omnipower in governing the nation. Each branch of the federal government has its power and limit to the power under the Constitution of the United States. When the Congress is divided as it stands now, it can be more truthful and reality. This reporter has been monitoring legislatiive activities in the Congress and questioned to himself almost everyday as to who some of these legislators were when he read bills introduced in the Congress to amend the Constitution of the United States almost every day or every week of legislative sessions. C'mon, how many times the Constitution of the United States has been amended!?!? Legislators should understand the limit to the power of the Congress, not to mention the power of an individual legislator!
Senator Rubio, you indeed are a skillful lobbyist. This is the last term for the President Obama.

man they need to get this over with.... we cant wait forever for that legal status.
i am grateful for the deferred action that was granted by the president Obama, but that deferred status can only do so much

I love Obama for DACA and I'm forever grateful for it :) republicans, you can put that legalization up your damn asses! You're only killing your own party!

Honestly I wouldnt mind if worst case scenario DACA privileges were extended to everyone and then DACA benefits changed to temporary legal status so that we can travel outside the country whenever we want.

I think DACA for the undocumented should be the option if CIR fails in House.

Why do you think he is tempted?

I think without a CIR of any kind, this country will have an economic collapse within a few years, Obama need those 11+ million to help pay for 'obamacare' and other expenses... The system needs us more than we need it :lol:

lol the system doesn't need us. We just got out of a recession and are trying to get the economy going again. CIR would boost the economy, but if CIR doesn't happen it wouldn't hurt it either.
