Re: Boehner mocks colleagues on immigration
Boehner certainly looks to be slowly escalating the issue in order to bring it to the forefront in the near future. June seems like the do or die month with around 2/3s of primaries having been done by June 24.

Lol then make them work. You're the speaker of the house and hold the majority.

It's all for show. 2017 will be the year....

At least he knows he's dealing with a bunch of whiners.
But, at the end of the day, what does it say about him that he continues to bow to the right win extremists of his party? |

Re: Boehner mocks colleagues on immigration
I think he probably is for immigration reform but clearly he's more of a puppet than a leader for the GOP. The problem I have with Boehner is that he knows it's HIS party holding up immigration and HIS party that can change it but he still follows the party line of blaming it on Democrats and the President. Just be a man and say that.

Read the tea leaves and the soundings coming off for a few months now. Boehner is laying the groundwork. He's going to make an honest to God effort to pass immigration reform on the throats of his caucus in June. This is going to be closest thing to reform we ve had since 2007 and the best we may get until 2017. I hope he gets the job done. But if this isn't done, I won't blame him. I ll blame the Republican Party. |
