Does anyone know the requirements for this bill?

I've been following this myself for awhile, the requirements are great for younger dreamers, but they completely left us older dreamers out. You must apply for college within 2 years after graduating from high school. I've read over the bill numerous times, there are NO clauses about existing graduates who have been out of school for 2 years+.

I've been out of high school for 7 years myself, and I know now that this is passed, the chances of Florida revisiting this issue are amazingly slim now. This is rather gut-wrenching news for me, but at least the kids now won't have to go through the depression of knowing you'll never be able to afford college in the US.

Honestly, I think all colleges are a pain in the ass to pay, in-state or not...and I have in-state tuition in NY. And I mainly say this because of how wallet draining living expenses can be whilst you pursue college full time.

Although, I don't take my low payments for granted, it's still a pain...lol...

I think California is the only state with a godly tuition program, I hear about people paying $1 dollar per semester and stuff over there, without owing anything (If I heard right...lol)

Where can i read the official requirements?

I read in a news article that if you are already enroll in college that you qualify? Is this true?

"Like many other state-level DREAM Act bills, this Florida tuition equity bill would allow undocumented immigrants, who attended high school for three years and graduated or are already in college, to qualify for in-state tuition at public colleges. "

this is the line that would possible screw older dreamers like myself :(
"(12)(a) A state university, Florida College System
institution, career center operated by a school district under
s. 1001.44, or charter technical career center shall waive out
of state fees for students, regardless of immigration status,
who attend a secondary school in this state for 4 consecutive
years immediately before high school graduation, apply for
enrollment in an institution of higher education within 24
months after graduation
, and submit an official Florida high
school transcript as documentary evidence of attendance and
graduation."
