Judge Blocking Obama on Immigration Has Reputation for Fairness in Texas
To be fair, I did not read the article. I dunno what can I say? Anything that could be considered fair, according to Texas, should be taken with a grain of salt. And he is probably an outstanding guy, you know, a blood donor who donates his old vehicles to NPR and whatnot. Still, by what I have read from his own comments and seen from his own actions, he is one of those activists judges who is letting his personal views cloud his interpretation of the law. Furthermore, he seems to have very strong opinions on an issue he has not really researched that much. Like me writing how I do not agree with an article I had not read. Still, it is not the same to bitch on DAP than to actually make a a judgment on an issue where you allow your opinions guide your values instead of the other way around. In conclusion, I can be a jerk because of the low impact of my comments. He cannot.

How is he a crook? We may not like what he did but in his eyes, hes trying to do something "right" and hes NOT breaking any laws while doing it

Re: Judge Blocking Obama on Immigration Has Reputation for Fairness in Texas
His claim (and thus the placement of injunction) that the administration didn't follow procedures for notifying the public and collecting comment when changing the interpretations of rules is invalid as the supreme court has recently ruled in a separate case. One thing I'm not sure is now a decision on a separate case would affect another.

So he's a crook because of that ?

Re: Judge Blocking Obama on Immigration Has Reputation for Fairness in Texas
He isn't? A judge who judges based not on law but on biased emotion? You seem to know more, so please do elaborate. I have no law background.

Re: Judge Blocking Obama on Immigration Has Reputation for Fairness in Texas
Lmao yes a judge who doesn't break any laws is crook.
Most people think obama/uscis are crooks for letting their emotions get their best of them and issuing DACA. I get this judge isn't that popular here (and because if his actions my parents were affected ) but I wouldn't call him a crook. The real crooks here are our home country political leaders who are the real reason why we are here. |
Re: Judge Blocking Obama on Immigration Has Reputation for Fairness in Texas
Yes, please laugh your ass off. Your ass contributes nothing anyway. Are you a lawyer? Can you prove he has't broken any law? I've read articles more than a month ago that if he were to follow the law, he wouldn't stop the executive action (I don't remember the exact wording). It's his decision that's unconstitutional. And please don't bring up your "argument" about what "other people" think of this executive action. Of course, depending on which side you are on, people will say whether it's lawful or not. But I am talking about a judge, not regular folks.
