NEW DACA applicants
 

Hello ya'll! So i've seen forums for people already renewing but i hope i get the chance to see other people like me that have just applied for the first time! I finally turned 15 in Dec, so I qualified. Anyway, I hope to hear from others as well! My case was received today.

Hi,

Im a first time applicant too.
My case was received on 03/02/15 and I got my receipt letters on 03/08/15
My biometrics appt is on 04/07/15 and based on what I've since on recent applicants from there it can take anywhere from 4-5 months.

Congrats! You're lucky, I would have loved to have been that young when I first applied. Things would have been so much different.

Here to report on today's event

Had my biometrics taken today and process was smooth

Got there 1hr before my appointment time and was done within 45min

Now the wait game starts.

New applicant got my approval notice today thank god it only took exactly 2 months when they first receive my application good luck too all you guys still waiting :-)

2 months dude that's awesome. Can you give us your timeline and what service center? I'm a first time applicant as well and did my biometrics 3/25

Send my application on February 16 to Arizona
Got accepted on February 20and routed to California
Biometric appointment March 26
April 14 application approval
Aproval notice aplril 17
And now just waiting for my card to arrive on the mail

See, those routed to California got there stuff done a lot faster! Nebraska has been taking a lot of time. Although, it also seems that MOST states get routed that way! kind of weird.

Anyway, I am 32, and just applied for the first time... so many reasons for not applying 2 years ago, all of them sound dumb when I think about them now, but hey, no use crying over spilled potion!

Just waiting on my Social Security card now, I received the Differed Action letter today
