U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump said he would rescind President Barack Obama’s executive orders on immigration and deport all undocumented immigrants if elected next year.

In an interview that will air Sunday on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” billionaire Trump said he wouldn’t split up families and instead would deport them “together.”

“We have to make a whole new set of standards,” the front-runner in Republican polls said in a partial transcript provided Saturday by NBC. “We either have a country or we don’t have a country.”

Trump has made fighting illegal immigration a cornerstone of his run for the White House. Announcing his candidacy in June, he called Mexican immigrants “rapists” and said they bring drugs and crime to the U.S., earning rebukes from fellow Republicans and companies including Macy’s Inc. and Comcast Corp.’s NBC Universal unit.

Trump has called for the construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and said he’d force Mexico to pay for it.

There are about 11.3 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S., slightly more than half of them from Mexico, and they account for 5.1 percent of the U.S. labor force, according to the Pew Research Center.

Obama in November announced a unilateral change to U.S. immigration policy designed to shelter millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation and provide them with three-year work permits.

To qualify for the program, immigrants must have lived in the U.S. for at least five years and be the parents of an American citizen or have been brought here as children themselves. They must also pass a criminal background check.

Just saw this, the guy is a total clown, has no regards or respect for the minority. You can no longer win an election if you don't have the minority vote and clearly this guy doesn't have it.

Any who there is an article out now that he is currently working with Senator Sessions on creating immigration plan for his presidency

Wait wait, I've heard immigrants undocumented and documented keep telling me "They're all the same!" and a few of them saying "Obama hasn't done anything for immigration". I guess if they're all the same, we deserve Trump. Maybe then they'll get it.

Trump is a sad sack of Sh!t, This is all for more publicity, nothing less nothing more. The only reason he can do as he pleases for now is because he has the money to finance his own campaign.

America would lose all its significant allies with Trump's diarrhea of the month, Some things you just can't say and expect things to end well. He has no qualms about disrespecting and offending anyone and that would be his biggest FAIL. Diplomacy is complex and very necessary in certain situations and Trump thinks he can open his mouth and say whatever whenever. He is a Clown!

I'm really nervous about our future here. This guy is the next Hitler, I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same thing to us. How can people be so cruel. He will destroy families and like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if he sent us to camps. Guy has a lot of supporters, that's something to be worried about, i am.

Immigrant-bashing catapulted this guy to the top of his party ticket because 'advocates' kept his oral diarrhea at issue for weeks. Eventually, the MSM picked up on it and now they're running full force with it.

I wrote about it here, do not pay lip service to this guy, that's what he wants. Lo and behold, that's what everyone did. Trump is self-funded and has the capital to run his ridiculous platform at little personal risk. He didn't have to promote himself; everyone else did it for him.

When I was young, I didn't understand why the popular vote didn't really count during these elections, since this is supposed to be a democracy. Well now I know why. The founding fathers created the electoral college in the off chance that the general population goes full retard and vote based purely on emotion and not facts and policy. I see this happening right now.

A lot of these polls, from what I know, are based on mostly internet activity, and as we all know, most who have a vocal voice on the internet tend to be racist. A lot of comments on news articles and what not all seem pretty racist to me. In other forums around the net, depending on the subject matter of the forum, you tend to find more moderate people who are against Trump's extreme views.

Now I'm kind of glad the electoral college exists. Imagine a country where the majority of voters are white nationalists and racists. We'll pretty much devolve as a country back to civil rights movement times.
