Religious leaders seeked questions about immigration

Then a unique opportunity presented itself as many of these superintendents were able to raise questions and concerns with President-elect Trump’s transition team. They received the following clarifications:

The “deportations” mentioned by the Trump administration would only apply to criminal felons.
The incoming administration would seek to protect children of immigrants by replacing Obama’s executive order (DACA) with official legislation.
The president-elect intends to build a wall, secure the border, and end illegal immigration.
Once the border is secured and e-verify components are incorporated within the workplace, Trump would work with Congress to legalize and integrate the "terrific, God-fearing, hard-working, undocumented individuals and families."

Once the border is secured... Secured by what standards? What happens if your DACA expires but the border is not yet 'secure?'

"The incoming administration would seek to protect children of immigrants by replacing Obama’s executive order (DACA) with official legislation."

Encouraging coming from right wing evangelist.

I certainly hope it is true.

Maybe they are trying to be more Christ-like. I've been noticing that a lot of Catholics and Christians have been more sympathetic towards the plight of immigrants. It started with the Pope's speech to congress. Boehner shuttered in fear at the Pope's message about immigration.

And behold FINALLY I see a glimpse of what we've been predicting all along. Official legislation which can provide relief to not only us but our families. 8-)8-)

If you ask me man now is the time for us to regroup and rally round Trump, the main man! I mean I hope this dude wastes no time and gets the ball rolling quick before he loses his mind towards political gains as these politicians usually do. Its a dangerous business this politics but I'm confident Trump can hold his own.

Official legislation? Looks it's talking about Bridge Act

It will either be that or the military bill.

If it is the military bill then I hope they can make U.S Navy and National Guard things we can apply for.
