(Important) DHS Secretary and Attorney General hearing...

...is tomorrow!

Considering the influence both men will have on immigration policy in the coming years, it would be wise to watch both hearings tomorrow and one on Wednesday. Each hearing may explain some details on what to expect from the administration on immigration policy.

Christ I hope Sessions gets voted down hard, or that at least the judiciary committee tears him a new one.

Also - how the hell is he getting confirmed already. Trump is not president yet.

Worth keeping an eye on it.

And if any of us have some time, let's post the updates here, it would be much appreciated.

I can only surmise it is part of the Senate GOP strategy. "Rule of law" is a big thing for the GOP and immigration, security and 'law enforcement' is part of that cadre. The Senate GOP know Senate Democrats, particularly Schumer, have warned they will delay many of Trump's choices. I believe McConnell has promised he wants to have a majority of Trump's administration choices to be ready by inauguration day, and so, they begin early!

The stupid Democrats changed the filibuster rules three years ago, so that a simple majority (51 votes) of Senators are needed to confirm a nominee. With 52 Republican senators in office now, they'll usher in all their nominees without any resistance from the Democrats :-(

I hope there are some questions asked directly about how these two clowns (except the General, he seems o.k.) , are going to handle the DACA program.

Graham and Sessions is talking about DACA. He said he thought it should be suggested or that it would be no problem to be repealed.
