Someone submitted this in another thread, however, I believe this should stand its own thread as it is important to understand another perspective of the silence we are enjoying.

I believe, we all need to push for Dream Act, or Bridge act, or whatever we can get. To hide under the cover does not chase the monster away.

We, as dreamers are being used in this political game, and I think we are all aware of this, so at least we need to get something out of this.

I say scrap the BRIDGE ACT since the whole point of it was Trump would overturn DACA. Pass something more permanent for us.

Exactly! There is no point in passing something temporary like the bridge act if DACA is still intact.

The comments section in that link are interesting to say the least:!::!:

I do agree with the gist of their article though. Ending DACA now could be another potential PR misstep and considering they are already in one with the whole 'size of the inuaguration crowd' clusterfuck, I think they could do without another one right now.

And I also think they are underestimating the weight that the business community has on Trump and his Administration. Several positions are being filled with hard right wingers but there's quite a lot of others which aren't. They might not end up getting as many wins as they think they might.

Indeed a very good read. I restrained myself from replying to some utterly ignorant response but they're definitely not worth my time.
