He was a suspected MS-13 member? Holy shit. Other than that, I guess assault and battery were his delitos.

He doesn't look like a gang banger. But he fucked up with those convictions.

Also the truck driver is saying he didn't know the illegals were inside the truck.

The truck driver is saying that but the people who were they say they were shouting at him through their air hole before and the guy has a long rap sheet as well so he's in deep doodoo.

In my opinion, I doubt a gang member would bother going through the DACA application process.
Gathering proof of presence from x dates to x dates, education, application and possibly attorney fees, biometrics..etc.

ICE will categorize or falsely affiliate you with gangs according to your country of origin.
He was Central American, of course they would automatically think M13. Same happens with Mexicans.

Regardless, he should have never committed those acts of assault and battery especially by a mob. DACA is a privilege and it can be revoked very easily, therefore, you should be at your best behavior and keep yourself at low profile. I recommed not even getting tattoos until after you get your green card because that's just asking for trouble and even if you attempt to get legalized, your case will be denied.

Agree! We don't get a free pass for petty actions the way a USC would. Where a USC would get a slap on the wrist, we risk deportation.

I was specifically referring to the alleged gang member affiliation. In the article it states he was a suspected gang member.

I agree with you, he was wrong for committing the acts he was convicted for.
And yes, definitely no tattoos until one has obtained citizenship.
