Jeff Sessions open to deal on DACA, border security
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Wednesday he's open to some kind of agreement that would help Dreamers in return for tougher border security, but stopped short of saying he could support a path to citizenship for the Dreamers.
"I have not supported explicitly anything about citizenship," he told Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. "But I am prepared to say, and I think I've said previously, something could be worked out on this. But it can't just be one-sided." http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/je...rticle/2637885 |

Re: Jeff Sessions open to deal on DACA, border security
Sounds good to me. Tougher border security does not affect either of us Dreamers because we are already here. Let them spend the money on the damn wall.
They will soon realize its the corrupt border patrol green lighting all the passageways. |
Re: Jeff Sessions open to deal on DACA, border security
Knowing Sessions, he will ask for everything and the kitchen sink knowing damn well it will sink any type of bipartisanship we may be having.

Re: Jeff Sessions open to deal on DACA, border security
Sessions doesn't want a DACA deal.

The wall is such a waste of money. Doesn't matter if it's 50 or 100 meters high. Mexicans will find a way to climb over or under the wall.

I don't blame him, personally I want a wall as well.

Re: Jeff Sessions open to deal on DACA, border security
But Sessions does want a border wall and tougher border security though...
I want a border wall, I want tougher security provisions. I am tired of my people being the scapegoat for the countries problems. |
