I don't think any Republican would vote for anything having to do with leaving chain migration. Chain migration is a disaster for this country and it's horrible," he said, adding that funding for a wall on the border with Mexico would also be part of a DACA deal.

Shut it down !
a) Democrats shut it down and we get a clean bill.
b) We get relief and give them these things, which would not endanger our families with deportation.
c) We do not get anything.

Thoughts?

there is no choice C though, there will be some sort of relief at least for the current DACA recipients.

either he "extends" the deadline or just create his own EO of "TRUMP DACA" that doesnt equate to "amnesty" with more stringent requirements.

nobody is going back to the shadows.

id like to believe the best in people, no matter how terrible they are.

i just don't believe that this country will throw us under the bus and leave us out to dry.

No, in the power of media pressure.

I agree nobody is going back in the shadows. We might not get a GC but bridge act may pass or DACA may be reinstated at the worst
