Rachel Maddow calling him out. Schumer says they advanced the DACA call, says they have to be smart and careful since Democrats don’t have the power. Says they agreed to open the government because he doesn’t want Dreamers to lose public support over their shut down. Says Mcconell also promised 10 of his own members DACA will get a vote.

People love the Dreamers but don't want to see government shutdown over them.

Mcconnell promised to 10 members of his own caucus and leader is not likely to break promise made to his members.

If we pass the bill in the senate, House is likely to pick it up as starting March 5th, pictures of dreamers being deported would shake the government.

Republicans do not care if Dreamers are deported...in fact they are pushing for it!!!!

He is saying they are only 4 or 5 votes away from getting the 60 required to pass legislation in the senate.
