I'm not surprised he supports this because the end goal of the bill is to decrease the amount of 'brown' immigrants allowed to enter the country and become citizens.

Grassley's bill is a vehicle for their i.migration restriction goals. Protect all Dreamers and Republicans cab negotiate some of what they want.

Come on, let's be realistic. It will either be DACA recipients being thrown a bone in the form of XYZ status (Bridge Act, renewable DACA, green card) or nothing. Those are the two choices.

Adding more and more categories of people to a possible legalization risks that anything is done for DACA.

Once again: something will be done for DACA or nothing will be done at all. There is no third or fourth option.
