'Dreamer' accused of terror threat incapable of action, parents say

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usa.../amp/371598002

I'm on my phone. Can someone post the text of the article?

The gist: Yes, she is developmentally challenged. Yes, they're gonna look like fucking assholes for trying to charge someone incapable of making a sound decision with terrorism. (which means they'll definitely bury this story) And yes. ICE is probably singing happy tunes for taking out more "illegals" while detaining a mentally disabled girl.

It involves new information, you idiots - did you even read the article? She's a special needs student, and they decided to detain her over charges that realistically can't be committed by someone with her mental capacity.

I feel bad for her but you guys gotta understand after what happened in Florida. Police are taking no risk. Cruz made a YouTube post that went ignored. So imagine how sensitive people are now.

I agree. She seems mentally ill and she never actually killed anyone. If she wasn’t a DACA recipient, I’m sure she would have been substantially healthier because guess what, if you have mental illnesses, you can be considered inadmissible when you attempt to adjust your status. Many people hide their problems and don’t get the help they need. I’m not defending her actions. She shouldn't have made the threat or had the shot gun (though I haven’t heard of shotgun being used in a mass shooting). I’m sure it is very possible that she will be deported but I don’t think she should be.

Also can people lay off the insults about her physical appearance. I haven’t seen too many people on here say it but the comments on these articles are terrible. It’s a mugshot, not a prom pic and being ugly or overweight are not crimes. No one is asking people to fuck her so why the hell do so many people care. I hate that they put her picture up, it was a dick move on the part of these news outlets and it was ridiculously political.

There’s a lot of questions that need to be answered. If she can’t write how the hell did she post that message a Facebook?

My apologies. This makes the threat even less of an issue. This chick needs to be released and get some medical care. She is not a terrorist. Period.

Threats are threats. This is sad but they won't be taking any chances after Florida shooting.
