So it seems like the REPs and Trump are OK with expanding DACA to include aged out dreamers but not OK with giving them citizenship in exchange for the wall alone. Dems should have taken the deal IMO, I mean once DACA is codified and becomes an law it becomes more difficult to end it and it would include the 1.8 mil population for just the wall.

It was an offer of temporarily extending DACA. It did not make DACA permanent.

It was a shitty deal. They could just come after us once the wall is built. They will have no use for you then.

Compromising is essential to get things done. But, a temporary extension of DACA in exchange for the full wall is a sucker's deal. What guarantee do we have that Trump will legalize us once he gets full funding for his wall????? Working with Trump to get shit done is ok, but in our position, we can't really trust him.

Unlike Democrats, we need to use leverage points to protect our interests as well. We don't get anything permanent yet; He doesn't get full funding for his concrete wall, albeit these fucking loser Democrats did give him 1.6 billion on border security. Fucking idiots.
