They cannot ask for all this just for Daca recipients when USAAct and RACAct covers all dreamers AND (heard from WA Dems) they have the votes for the discharge. Covering childhood arrivals is a baseline and. Just file the discharge petition.

it sounds like after the 10 years we'd be on a path to citizenship, so probably we'd get GC's after the 10 years.

I don’t think they mean we would have daca for 10 years. We would probably be getting conditional residency for 5 years and then a GC after those first five years.

10 Year renewal = Conditional green card and/or green card for 10 years.
There is no mechanism in the immigration system to go from "Work permit" to Citizenship straight, aside from military service.

This is very generous offer from the "moderates" to the Freedom Caucus. It appears that they won't accept any path to citizenship tough.

The only way forward is for Trump to bully them into accepting this, once he realizes that the wall $$ is included.
