Pelosi plans to tie Mueller protections to spending bill

Looks like no DACA protection for us this year....

Republicans control the House of Representatives and Senate until January, but they need some Democratic votes on the legislation to keep parts of the U.S. government open beyond Dec. 7.

"The Congress must immediately pass legislation to preserve the Special Counsel investigation," Pelosi said in a statement.

Does it really matter? The Turtle as never going to allow DACA as part of the spending bill. He didn't before, and nothing has changed.

I know you do. And I agree they could show more spine, but they are not our only obstacle. If the stupid GOP leadership showed some compassion even with weak democratic leaders, the issue would have been resolved. Last year we had all that support and air time, and DEMs backed down. I don't see that being any different this year when it has been decided from Trump to GOP to Pelosi that this issue is not urgent (until SCOTUS has it's say).

The other Democrats get it, but I just hate the fact that she and Schumer have to do this crap. If they do this, the asshole will be getting $5 billion on border security plus the $3.2 billion he already received. ($8 billion total)
