Durbin: DACA court protections will soon end

Says won't trade The Wall for DACA because in Feb Trump reneged on his words

Says DACA court protections will soon end so have to work together to find solution

So can't work because you didnt keep promise but must work together because DACA will die

Ok.

He doged the question. If Trump DOES offer and MARK his words, take the deal! Now say Trump eats his words again, fine, but so what? Keep DACA relevant!

It is scary that Durbin is bringing up the dichotomy of Abandoning DACA or Saving DACA

There can't even be a thought of "Abandoning"

This is bad.

It means Durbin/Dems thinking about maybe Abandoning DACA if need be.

It is imperative for Schumer not to budge an inch on Wall

If DACA is killed by Scotus, then there won't be nothing to negotiate with.

I found this interview and the non-answers disappointing and false.

Daca does NOT protect families - only the Daca recipient.

Dreamers are not only students or 'young' people: Most are in their 30s now or older if they were left out of the program.

He goes on to say Schumer and Pelosi decide how to proceed, but only when they are 'forced' by the court terminating the program.

Thank NILC, UWD, and the others for the waste of taxpayer money in the baseless lawsuits preventing progress for the community.

Regardsless. "Childhood" is in its name. We will forever be young.
