Selene Saavedra Roman, 28, a resident of College Station, Texas, had been a crew member for Phoenix-based Mesa Airlines for less than a month in February when she was scheduled for a flight to Mexico out of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), even though she’d already made it clear that she didn’t want to work any flights outside the US.

So all of you are fixated on her looks. She didn’t fucking deserve this. She’s a flight attendant. Flying to another country caused all of these problems for her. It’s such a fucking shame.

Yeah...that's one of the first things DACA applicants learn, no travel outside the United States.

Sorry , but why the hell did she agree to go? She definitely knew she couldn’t leave the country.

She is married to a Citizen.

Dont understand why she would believe him

I feel bad for her, but the fact that she specifically told her job that she could only work on flights within the US proves she knew she couldn't leave the country. The airline gave her terrible advice, but she also made a bad decision. Hopefully she can at least get out of detention while she fights this.
