Two generations of DACA remain frustrated by a dream deferred

Anybody know when the Senate is supposed to vote on the American Dream and Promise Act? I couldn’t find any other up to date DACA news. |

It is not going to happen. Just because the House passed it, does not mean the Senate has to have a vote on it.
It is up to the majority leader to bring it up, or not. The problem is, the Democrats know it will absolutely not pass on its current form. |

They will not vote. They don't have 10 Republican votes.
Heck we don't even have all the votes on Democrat side. There are people like Manchin who are Republican under mask. |

Nothing will happen. Don't hold your breath.
Optimists angry right now. |

Well it's really 3 generations...DACA recipients are in the middle sandwiched between those who are too young and aren't able to apply and those who are too old and can't apply...It's like a shit sandwich and I'm the top bun.

Don’t worry guys, the Democrats will suddenly be interested in “helping us” after they lose the House & Senate.
