AP approved - 4th time

4th time I applied with AP and got approved. This time they were a little bit more strict and requested more evidence, and they wanted me to translate my birth certificate too.

I asked for multiple entries for 8 months and was only given one entry for 2 months. To anyone that wants to apply for AP please make sure you renew your DACA first. My permit expired in August and even though I quickly renewed in March they only gave me the dates from May to July since I applied for AP in January before i renewed.

Receipt - 1/27
RFE received - 4/28
RFE sent online - 4/29
Approved - 5/2
Letter received - 5/6

Forgot to update this.

Left 5/17
Returned 7/13

This was the longest I’ve used AP and I loved the experience.

How was your experience coming back going through immigration? I’m currently applying for AP for the first time. The thought of going through immigration on the way back scares me. How do they treat you usually?

I have traveled twice with AP and experience was nice and easy. did not ask me anything and they are very friendly and dont bother you at all. no need to worry.

As far as documentation, what exactly did you provide? I'm wanting to apply for AP, this would be my first time applying, but I'm unsure of what kind of documentation I need to get for grandmother who's sick.

They did not ask me anything lol. They stamped and kept my document and stamped my passport and said I was good to go.

I recommend coming back through an airport they usually know and are familiar with Advance Parole.

You’ll need a doctors note, you’ll need it translated and you’ll need the translated document signed.
