Honestly, not surprised and also, in this climate- no way would I even feel comfortable returning with AP.

This is misleading. Advanced parole applications are still up. Her answer is based on a 2018 injunction which explains

I dont think Trump is gonna touch DACA or AP till something comes up in the courts. (Hope im not wrong)

The wait is killing me though, SCOTUS probably wont take it up till Fall 2025 with a decision in Summer 2026.

Sucks nobody is talking about it though, Trumps mention of DACA on the NBC interview Dec 8th, 2024 was the most substantive comment we got from anyone. I guess no news is good news?

In his first term, as soon as Trump touched DACA, he faced huge PR backlash.

Reached SCOTUS and Trump lost.

He learned his lesson.

Now he starting with "low hanging fruits" aka Final Orders and Convicts.

Yeah this is false as hell. Couple of friends were approve for AP just recently
