How so many undocs own big houses?!

Anyone surprised at how many arrested undocs in the news had big houses?

I swear, 90% of them owned big-ass houses!

its like the dumbest thing to do tbh, all that wasted money instead of building something back where they are from.

Have a big house or have it paid off? I prefer the stock market over the housing market. But I'm not a clever investor so just sp500. Also, not seeing any of the supposed compounding and growth. Thanks to the high inflation not seeing anything big.

A big house can vary in price depending on where you live.

They give easy mortgages to any fool with a pulse, just like they give student loans to any idiot with a pulse.

The country did not learn its lesson from 2008 so now it has to go through and do it all over again.

They actually did tighten requirements on lending then steadily over the years wound them down and we are pretty much right back to zero. So I'm probably going to buy a nice house in the suburbs with a tall fence and a pitbull dog.
