Entered with inspection and lost the I-94?
I been reading in this forum and I found out that people who lost their old passport and their I-94 think that they will never be able to a Green Card through marriage without leaving the US and getting a 10 years ban.
That's not true, they can file for a replacement for the I-94 (the immigration authorities keep all the information on all the people that entered the US legally) and then it's very simple to get married and get a Green Card, without leaving the US and getting a ban. It's easy to file for an I-94 replacement, it costs alittle but worths it. There's no need to have the old passport, the I-94 replacement and a blank passport is enough. And on the new passport there's always the old passport number so it's good. It's important for people who entered with inspection to know. |

So keep it because then you'll have to pay $320 for a replacement. ;)
This is the I-102 form if someone is intersted. |

If I order the replacement I-94, would they track me down?! |
