To my knowledge they only have border patrol in cities that are near the border.

When I took the Amtrak from New York City to New Mexico, there wasn't a single Border Patrol person.

When I took the bus home from College, (was during spring break) I was not expecting there to be border patrol lol. I had never taken the bus in Erie, (only here in NYC) so I would have never...

I highly doubt they have Border Patrol in Fort Edwards. They have it in Erie, PA because its close to Canada, just over...

Penn Station in NYC is safe, I was there in 2008, (back when I did not have a drivers license) and no one was checking for statuses. Just stay away from taking a train near the "borders", Example...
