I'm not sure either. All I know is that mine hasn't expired yet. Just in case it might be better for you to get yours renewed while you wait for the biometrics.

Hi Eya-, I believe that after we take the biometric and wait several weeks for an approval notice will we know for sure if we get our work authorization.

oops didn't finish what I said above. Bring the biometric notice and form of I.D. required or you won't be able to take the appointment.

Hello everybody just today on August 25, 2012 I received my biometric I-821D/ I-797C notice in the mail for my appointment to be on September 12,2012 @ 1 pm.

Yes it is, you should receive two. One for I-821D and I-765.

USCIS Acceptance Confirmation! Arizona Lockbox.

I sent mine by Express mail on 8/15/12 and it arrived before noon at the Arizona lockbox by 11:38 a.m. on 8/16/12.

Now to play the waiting game :neutral:

Your case has been accepted and routed...
