This question is for my bro in law he just got approved on 11/04/2012. For the SSN application which choice do you pick for citizenship (Section #5)? "legal alien allowed to work", " or "other"?

For proof he sent his school transcript since 5th grade - 12th grade
school ID, birth certificate, current schedule from school,...

He just check his status on line I-829D is approved. (Yes on a Sunday) and EAD approved yesterday.
FYI he is 16 years old still in high school.
