I applied for a CA Driver License and it expires in 5 years. And the CA Identification Card expires in 6 years. I already receieved my card by mail.

It is not required to get a print out. You can't really do anything with a print out, only see your assigned SSN on it. But if you are planning on applying for a ID/DL, and want to apply "early"...

No, first I did a walk in at Wilshire Blvd because that is where I was assigned. But the officer at Wilshire Blvd did not allowed me to do a walk in. So, I went to El Monte to complete my Biometrics....

According to CA website and handbook, you need an appointment to take the driving test. If they have an opening on the same day you take the written, that would be cool, but they are usually "booked"...

Yea the print out is enough, it has your assigned Social Security number on it, you don't even have to show it, just put it on the dmv application, fill out the form and show them your EAD card,...

I was approved the 9-20-2012, and went to apply for ssn on the 8th day (9-28-2012). You don't have to wait 10 days after the approval to apply, you may apply before the 10th day. Good Luck.
