There are many factors that come into play before getting approved I believe maybe that's why some get approved earlier but who knows..

From what I can gather the approval process has an element of randomness to it. I'm an August application like many others here and still waiting..

Just to clarify, in order to get a dl in florida u will need a letter of "approval" if u don't have your ead card yet. The 797c receipt letters wont do.

I believe you got lucky. I live in Orlando as well and used to have a DL but I am not able to renew/reinstate it because of no immigration status. Plus i don't have a SS #.
