I had my appointment earlier this morning. Got to the place at quarter to eight for the eight o'clock appointment. We were let in to the waiting room at eight on the dot. The guard did his job well....

I think I may be one of very, very few to apply from the Virgin Islands. Haven't seen or heard of anyone else (besides a friend of the family) who is applying from here.

Gonna work for the local government if possible. Already got something in the works from someone I met. I can use my masters degree there.

Never even attempted to travel to the US. Never had reason to as a kid, and after a scare I had in 2005, never went through the airport except to island hop.
