I have a few questions. My nephew just got his EAD he's 15 and his dad is nowhere in the picture and we have no idea of his information. His mom doesn't have ID. I can't take him as his uncle either...

i walked in bios the sept. 19th and my nephew walked in bios october 23rd and he got approved and i'm still not approved. so no... walk in bios don't hold anything up.

Don't send anything until you get the letter with instructions of what you need to send and how. Check the RFE threads. The status update doesn't mean anything until you get the actual piece of paper...

It's not that I'm not patient. It's the fact that I took the time to get my stuff ready and people who sent their stuff after me and did their biometrics after me already have their EAD or even are...

I would still go hardcore and try to pass the GED. DACA is a process so important that you don't want to get caught up in process limbo. I took my Biometrics almost a month ago and i'm still waiting....
