I'm from Tustin. I got my EAD today and I went straight to the SSA. they said is gonna take 2 weeks.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting it either. I didnt even sign up for text message. I just check my status and I found out I got approved.

I just got approved today!
application sent: september 6 to lockbox arizona
routed to california
biometrics for 10/11 - walk in 09/24
approved: 10/04
