got the RFE on september and i just got approved this monday
i get my work permit tomorrow, i had lost hope
since first they gave me 3 months so they can work...

you can file them right now with your itin number
and once you get your social you wait until you get your
refund (if youre getting one) and then AMEND your tax returns
from 2012 and years back...

call the IRS 1 (800) 829-0582 then press 2 for spanish (they are alot more helpful) then when asked for an extension enter 462 and wait its usually 2 mins to 30 mins depends what time try monday to...

still waiting here luckily, after the RFE they give you a 60 day wait for their response or decision, 60 days will be in like a week n a half, im curious to what they are going to tell me, hopefully...

yeah you need to apply for a social, the itin is for tax purposes only it clearly states that on the itin, not valid for work
