Im from Mexico and I believe me most countries would still be messed up with or without the US. One thing, the US was heavily involved in Japan during the Cold War and look how good they have it....

If you graduated from a Texas highschool, and if you are low income you can easily get 12000 to 15000 a year in grants and scholarships. All you would need is decent grades
