I hope they don't move that final action date too much for you. It is so hard to tell how all these processing times for all of our different applications will change.

Thank you for clarifying, in that case the parent will still need 601A, if approved, still attend the consular interview in their home country. In my father's case he also has a daughter who is 38...

What if the person entered with a tourist visa, but overstayed and has accrued illegal presence in USA. Does the parole in place apply to that case as well.

My mother traveled with the I-551 for the very first time back in 2019. She arrived in NYC and she did not have any issues at all.
