I think that you should just attach whatever will prove your independent status. I don't think that they care to see if your ss number matches, they just want to verify that you are an independent....

I have called the hotline for a 3rd time.

My I-765 was approved 3 weeks ago, but my I-821D is still under Initial Review. About 10 receipt numbers ahead of me have been approved....

Actually, students in California will not get federal money, but state money. So, it is not FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Your application number on the biometrics letter is for the I-765. So, if you received it with a number there, then someone must have filled it in.
