received my id today. it expires 2018 on my bday. im expecting my driver license tomorrow. i applied for both on 10/24/12 took my driving test on the 25th.

i applied the same day as you. the 23. and took my behind the wheel the 24th. i did it all at the west covina dmv. hopefully i get something today

it probably isnt a big deal to them. i dont know the maximum time an ead is issued for but my parents had a 1 year ead before they became permanent residents and thats what they used to apply for a...

CA DL are issued for 5 years and ID for 6. for all of us. so dont be scared that you will get anything less. ive been looking everywhere to try to find out how we could all get the normal exp date...

yes you need to show it to them. on the application there is a section for you to write the information of your out of state DL. if you have a DL already you dont have to take the behind the wheel...

just go friday. they will have it. just take the documents that you were asked for. if they tell you that its against protocol to give you the print out just tell them to type this into their browser...

thanks. yeah i went on the 24th after i got my social lol i took my id picture then my license and passed my written test the same day and i had my behind the wheel test today and i passed that too,...

all of them should give you a print out
when they tell you its against their protocol just tell them "no its not, its clearly stated in the social security website that you could give me the number...

my EAD was approved Oct 17. I received it monday the 22nd. went to the SSA on tuesday the lady told me that i cant be told the number until it arrives but if i want i could check friday. i came back...

i went to the dmv today and the lady said that the DL an ID would expire the day the EAD expires. i think the exp date might be might be determined by your social security application. Maybe depends...

the good thing about her case is that she isnt 18 so she hasnt triggered a 3 or 10 year bar.

so you just showed up and told them that you havent been issued a social yet and they let you take the test and do everything and when you take the social they will send you the DL and ID?
