I renewed my license for the real ID and my work permit expires July 2019 but my license expires January 2023 on my bday so total of 5 years.

well, generally speaking yes, people who have final orders are fugitives. i had a final order since 2007 but they never asked me to leave so i am was not running away from them

well, i have a friend who did not have an order of deportation and his took longer than mine. his took six months 2 weeks and mine took 5 months 2 weeks. so i guess each case is a little different.

mine took five months and i had a final order of removal. i was ordered removed when i was 15 and i never moved and they did not come looking for me. i was at the CA service center as well

no i did not have any type of criminal record. i am 100% free of any record. i had a ticket for driving without a license but that is not considered a crime according to the differed action rules....

you can call them. all they ask from you is your case number and if its been longer than six months they will put in a request to find out whats going on. I don't think anyone has reached six months...

well not having a legal status is not a reason to waste your life in the streets. We can do better and we have to prove that we are great people and diserve a chance to stay. Nobody is forcing you to...

my friend reaches six month on the 29th. i will let you guys know if he goes over which i dont think he will. i believe he will get approved monday or tuesday this week.

no they do not ask about your parents. I did not mention my parents at all in my application. I applied to get my social security today, so I can get a drivers license :)

thanks, for now lets just worry about now. if immigration reform passes then we will be set. Congress if very likely to pass at least the dream act this year.

I am in the California service center. I got approved 19 days before the six months deadline. I had a final case of deportation since 2007.
