When your application was approved, did you get a completely new social security number from the SSA?

This isnt for people who had a restricted number, but those who actually had a fake one.

I mailed my app in 8.17th and they sent me biometrics date for 9.27th. Im in a professional school that is asking me to go through a bunch of security clearances...
