Don't ever give up. It is hard to get a job right now due to the economy. Just keep at it, and suicide is not the answer. It is possible even if you are not a resident or a citizen. Just do research....

I am married to a US citizen, but had been hesitant to start the process...

Does anyone happen to know, what would happen to an undocumented person if he/she gets pulled over? And what he/she should say to the cops?

You should go to the Mexican embassy, there you will be able to obtain a p.p.,
but if i recall you wont need it when applying for school, it may be different now.

It is called the AB 540 Act.... however only 6 states have this, and its not called the same thing...you are going to have to do research depending on where you live.

You can go to a community college to obtain your GED....
do research on AB540.
If you are a residence (which you are), you can go to a college, and not pay out of state tuition.
