I never heard back from them but I'm guessing they were able to verify the number with no problems because a few weeks ago the state deposited the money into my bank account.

i got the same letter as well.
I sent:
-Last paycheck stub with updated ssn
-copy of ssn card
-letter from social security office saying that the new number belongs to me

I didn't send my...

I understand, just wanted to know what people that are in the same situation as me have done and with what results, thats all. I got a CapitalOne credit card 3 years ago with the same made up SSN...
