Don't quote me on this, but when I spoke to a lawyer a few years ago, I was told that the hardship waiver is extremely hard to get because it can't just be a financial problem or something like that....

So are you saying they won't have to do a cloture vote when they're voting on the house version?
I'm not quite sure how that part of the process works, it being brought in from the house and all....

I can imagine they will, but if Democrats give in and compromise to their "demands" I don't see why they couldn't do the same.

If you have a degree, or have completed 2 years of school for a 4 year degree you are eligible. So what you have sounds like it counts.

I'm also curious about this. Does it mean that we have to wait 1 year to apply?
I read the bill and what I understood from it was that you had 1 year to apply from certain conditions:
