I got the same thing today. Maybe your SSA officer didn't tell you, but mine told me I could come back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to get a print out which will have my SSN on it.

sorry, I misspoke. I meant to ask separately if we could just go to the dmv with a print out of the social sec number. I didn't actually get the print out, but she said it would be ready in a day or...

went to the SSA office today in NYC on williams st. i got my EAD card on the 24th and so I waited over 10 days I suppose, but not on purpose... I've just been so busy with everything else. :\
