So i got another text saying that my status had changed. Went to the website and it has the tracking #. Right now it's sitting somewhere in TN, I should get it by Monday I think. It's crazy to think...

I was pretty sure I was gonna be the last person from August to be approved, not that I gave up on it, but I was letting time take care of things.

I'm sure they have to go back and forth from "desk to desk" and every time it gets to a new person it goes to the bottom of the pile. So slightly more complicated cases like mine would take more...

So finally after 14 months and 2 days, I got a text to check the uscis website and it says that I have been approved. I got goosebumps. I was reading the document that JC posted about how they deal...

Checking in, I forget sometimes that I'm still waiting to be approved... I wish my times comes soon. 14 months is ridiculous. There's no way they have to take that long to do a background check, if...

I have a degree in culinary management, and 5 years of restaurant experience so I think I can get a job anywhere I go. I think I want to move to PR when I get approved, but Hawaii sounds really good...
